About Stacie

Teaching provides a way to foster FLUENCY rather than mere recall. I keep things precise and calm. My studio environment avoids the unkindness I encountered while earning my Artist Diploma in Music Performance.

Working with students who need structure or quiet space is my main focus. I enjoy watching people find their own sound.

About the lesson

Student goals become clear during a free trial session. Precise posture and hand position form the foundation for all technique.

Developing scales and arpeggios provides the necessary technical base. I incorporate pedalling technique alongside accompaniment skills for a complete musical picture.

Jazz improvisation encourages creative risks while pop and contemporary songs bridge the gap to modern styles. Learning happens when we deviate from plans to explore useful tangents. Building these skills requires patience and a clear objective. Fluency remains the primary target for every player I train.
