About John
Hi, I’m John. I hold a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University (TCU) and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering. I previously worked as a telecommunications engineer and currently serve as an Upper School Mathematics teacher at Fort Worth Country Day.
I specialize in teaching math—Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Statistics—and in test prep for the GED, ACT, SAT, GRE, and more. I’ve been tutoring in person since 1995 and began offering virtual instruction in 2016.

Excellent! I've had a few lessons with John so far, and I genuinely appreciate how patient and understanding he is. I never feel judged or "dumb" when I’m struggling — he takes the time to explain things in a way that actually makes sense to me, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all method.
