I am Riya Thakkar, a year 12 student from Girraween High School in Sydney. I enjoy spending time with children, and have the advantage of being able to explain tricky concepts to them really patiently and thoroughly. I feel as though this will help kids gain a better understanding of the basic concepts needed in math before rushing into complicated secondary mathematics.

My lessons would consist of a short briefing from me and I will get to know what you need help with. From that, we can decide how many lessons needed and structure how much time will be taken to explain the concept theoretically with some examples, before giving you some practice questions to work on with me helping on the side. The lesson will end with a review of what we just covered and a short, fun quiz on it!
