About Evan
I have always had a strong passion for mathematics. From a young age, I was fascinated by space and wanted to study astronomy and astrophysics. I realized I would need a good math and physics foundation for a career in astrophysics which has brought me to this point. I have always enjoyed explaining my solutions to problems in class and to family/friends which I would love to expand to more young Australians.

I am an entry-level tutor looking to take on my first students at a rate of $22/hr. Typical sessions will be 1 hour. My lessons are for High School students years 6-10. Lessons will be flexible depending on what my student needs help with. My methodology of teaching consists of finding specific weak points in my student's past work e.g. (factorizing and solving quadratic equations) and using comprehensible concepts that help build these skills. Mathematical knowledge won’t be the only thing gained from these lessons, I hope to build trusted relationships with my students to tailor my methodology of concepts specifically for their needs. This helps me lots as I have a better understanding of how to teach these concepts to my student. And it also makes the journey more fun!
