About Breon
Hi, I'm Breon, a medical student in Cardiff with a strong academic background and a real desire to help students succeed. I have previous tutoring experience and enjoy working with students to build both their understanding and confidence in their studies.
I'm patient, approachable and friendly and I strive to create a learning environment that is relaxed and conversational, so that the students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without any sense of judgement. Everyone learns differently, and so I will take the time to explain things clearly and at a pace that suits the individual.
In my spare time, I like to play and watch football, play the guitar and spend time with my friends and family. I've always done these things in order to manage stress, stay balanced and also to connect with students.

- Hello! I am Breon, and my approach to tutoring is not just practical, but it is also focused on the student with results as the main driver. From experience, I know learning works best when students feel comfortable asking questions, and understanding the why behind what they are learning.
- My lessons are structured but flexible; I'll assess the student's current level and tailor the sessions to their needs and their goals. I know how difficult exams are so I know how important it is to break complex topics into simple, clear steps. I will always show the student how to do what we are doing with examples, and let them take it away.
- My lessons last for 1 hour; this is to ensure time for examples, explanations, practice and corrections without feeling rushed. If we feel the lessons need to be shorter or longer, we can adjust.
- I achieved eleven 9s at GCSE, and got 2 A*s and an A at A Level. I am a year 2 medical student and have tutored friends and family friends previously. I volunteered as a long term teaching assistant at a primary school during year 13.
- The lessons are suitable student studying A Levels and below.
