About Angelika
Hi! I'm Angelika, a 16-year-old student currently studying Accelerated VCE Methods. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and playing sport.
As a student myself, I can relate well to younger learners and understand the challenges they face. When I was younger, I wasn't always motivated in math, but over time I learned that building strong foundations and using the right study techniques makes a huge difference. Being able to balance my studies alongside sport, friends, and other commitments has shown me that achieving strong results is possible, even when you have many priorities. With the right strategies and consistent effort, students can achieve more than they often think.

I believe success in maths comes from understanding why a method works rather than simply memorising steps. Strong foundations are essential, yet many students struggle with the fundamentals, making it harder to build confidence and progress to more advanced concepts.
My grandmother is a highly respected maths tutor, and through observing her lessons and helping younger cousins with their maths, I have learned how to explain concepts clearly and patiently. My goal is to help students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics.
I offer tutoring for students aged 5–13, including extension and accelerated learning. Lessons can be tailored to each student's needs and range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. I am available after school and on weekends.
