About Maia

Learning a language can be scary at first and the harassment from the Duolingo owl doesn't make it easier. I may not be a green bird, but I can help.

I'm a 22-year-old writer born in Argentina and have lived in BC for most of my life. I have 2 rescue dogs from Mexico, although we don't let soccer rivalries get in the way of our relationship. I like to read, cook, catch up with friends and try new hobbies and activities whenever I can!

I take pride in providing students with a healthy and engaging environment where the prospect of learning a language isn't as overwhelming as it may seem.

About the lesson

Further expanding knowledge using music, games, literature, and involving your own hobbies (i.e. Cooking, sports, art, etc.). Classes can include homework assistance and breakdown, making the instructions easier to understand. Can provide either formal lessons or simply spend some time incorporating the language into the things YOU love.
