About Xander
I am a 16-year-old student who learnt chess when I was quite young but didn't start playing seriously in tournaments until I was around 10. I reached 7th in the country for a 13-year-old in early 2023 but stopped playing for a couple of years to focus on exams since. I'm now looking to share my love of chess with others as a side hustle while I complete my A-Levels.

I cater to each specific student's needs. First, I look at a game provided by the student to offer advice on how to improve. Then we look at a high-level example between grandmasters of the skill which the student struggles with. Then I watch the student play a game on chess.com or similar platform as we attempt to implement the skill they struggle with.
