About Alishba

Hi! I’m a friendly, patient English tutor and a current Year 10 student at Kambrya College. I completed the SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) program from Years 7–9, where I developed strong literacy skills and effective study habits.

I achieved 97% in my mid-year English exam and 96% in my final exam, reflecting my strong understanding of reading, writing, and language skills. I enjoy helping primary school students build confidence in English and develop clear, strong foundations from an early age.

I aim to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I am organized, reliable, and committed to helping each student learn at their own pace.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach

I believe primary English learning should be supportive, engaging, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students understand why things work in English, not just memorise rules.

As a current Year 10 student who completed the SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) program at Kambrya College from Years 7–9, I developed strong literacy skills and effective study habits early on. I now use these strategies to help younger students build solid foundations in reading and writing.

Teaching techniques & methodology

Clear, step-by-step explanations suited to primary learners

Encouragement and positive reinforcement to build confidence

Lessons are structured but flexible, and I adapt my teaching style to each child’s pace and learning needs.

As a student who completed the SEAL program at Kambrya College, I was taught advanced literacy and analytical skills from an early age.
