About Diya
My name is Diya and I am in year 12. I want to tutor kids because I enjoy helping others understand challenging subjects in a way that makes learning easier and more enjoyable. I want to help kids with the topics I didn't understand when I was their age and want to explain it to them in a more precise and easier way. It’s rewarding to see students gain confidence and improve their skills with my guidance. Plus, since I recently learned these topics myself, I can relate to their struggles and help them navigate school with less stress!

In the past, I have tutored other children before, so I do have a decent amount of experience. Since I recently learned these subjects myself, the material is still fresh in my mind—I haven't gone years without revisiting it like some tutors might have. I also understand the pressure of school today, so I can relate to what my students are going through and help them navigate it. I tend to teach children who are from prep to year 7 and my lessons would be around 45 minutes to an hour long, depending student to student. I explain topics in a clear, straightforward way, making sure students truly understand before moving forward. I use real-life examples and easy-to-follow explanations to help make difficult subjects feel more approachable. I use interactive methods like discussions, quizzes, and hands-on exercises to reinforce concepts. I focus on strengthening the basics before moving on to more advanced topics. This ensures that students have a solid understanding, which helps them tackle more complex problems with confidence.
