About Sarah
I have previous teaching experience as a flute teacher. I am responsible for both beginner and intermediate classes and I have experience teaching in both one to one and group settings.
In addition to teaching experience, I have an in depth understanding of the GCSE and A level science curriculum having studied both until recently! I have 11 GCSEs (grades 7-9) including grade 9 in Biology. I’m predicted A*A*A for A levels and I’ve placed in competitions such as the UK Biology Olympiad. Finally, I have first hand experience of tuition as I have been tutored myself! I understand the need for personalised approach to lessons, I will happily focus on any particular area or assist with revision of an entire subject, depending on each students particular needs.

My teaching method is totally personalised, I will assess each child’s needs and plan lessons accordingly. In addition, My experience as a flute teacher has shown me that the most success is had with a practical approach to the lesson. I plan to make full use of past papers in addition to practise questions throughout the lesson as I believe exam technique is as crucial to academic success as understanding the content.
