About Aashish
I am a Year 9 student at Watford Grammar School with a strong passion for mathematics and helping younger students succeed. Having achieved two UKMT Gold Medals and reached the Junior Kangaroo round, I enjoy sharing my knowledge in a clear, patient, and supportive way. I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and develop a deeper understanding of maths. My goal is to inspire learners, make lessons engaging, and help each student reach their full potential.

My lessons are personalised, structured, and designed to build confidence in maths for students from Year 3 to Year 6 (11+). I use clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and targeted practice to help students understand concepts deeply. A typical lesson lasts 45 min to 1 hour and includes guided examples, problem-solving, and extension challenges where appropriate. I bring strong mathematical experience and a patient, supportive teaching approach that adapts to each learner’s needs.
