About Hannah

My name is Hannah Ryan, I’m a year 11 student attending Broughton Anglican College, and I have a deep passion for learning and teaching.

I am looking to become a private tutor for younger ages because I would love to help likeminded students with the same interests in learning as myself. I’m also looking to improve own skills as a teacher, for one day I hope to work in high-school education.

Flexible lesson times after school and on weekends will allow for students to rapidly improve their knowledge, as I will be working towards filling the gaps in my students understanding of their class work to make their lives easier and their schooling experience far more enjoyable.

About the lesson

My methods for teaching consist of patience and fun.
As a student myself, I completely understand the struggles of missing key details in class, and further difficulties regarding asking for assistance from a teacher with an entire class present. Not understanding school work leads to unwanted stress, and I hope to help diminish these worries with my private tutoring

Lesson lengths:
1-2 hours

Qualifications:
- Currently studying in year 11
- Graduated year 10 at Broughton Anglican College
- primary subjects for year 11 and 12 include extension maths, advanced English, physics, chemistry and biology

Target audience:
Grades 5-9, approximately ages 10-14
