About Daisy
Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m a Year 11 student who genuinely enjoys helping others learn. I’m approachable, patient, and always take the time to listen to my students so I can support them in a way that works best for them. My goal is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence.
I’m passionate about teaching because I know how important it is to have someone explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I love seeing students improve, feel more capable, and start to enjoy their learning. I’m committed to being reliable, organized, and supportive, so both students and parents can feel confident in my tutoring.

My approach to maths tutoring is all about building confidence and making concepts easier to understand. I break down problems step by step, use clear explanations, and give plenty of practice questions so students can feel comfortable applying what they’ve learned. I also focus on problem-solving techniques, exam-style questions, and simple strategies that help students improve both accuracy and speed.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but I’m flexible and can adjust timing to suit each student. I tutor students from Prep to Year 9, supporting all levels - from those needing extra help to those aiming to extend and achieve top results.
I have received an academic award every semester at Lourdes Hill College and was Dux of Years 7, 8, and 9. I have a year of tutoring experience in primary and junior secondary maths, and I currently study Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, physics, and chemistry. I’m also very familiar with the QCAA curriculum, so I can help students build strong foundations and prepare for success in senior maths and ATAR pathways.
