About Sulayman

I am a student in Year 12, currently studying Maths, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

I achieved Grade 9s (A*) in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. After spending a year as a Senior Maths Mentor at my school, I discovered how much I enjoy helping others understand challenging topics.

I have also gained experience through a placement at J.P. Morgan, which further developed my communication, problem-solving, and professional skills.

Having just done my GCSEs, I will be able to relate easily to students and all the knowledge is fresh in my mind and I aim to make Maths clear and approachable while helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I provide high-quality, personalised Maths tutoring for students studying at GCSE level and below. Having achieved Grade 9s in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths (A**), I have a strong understanding of the subject and what is required to excel academically. I also spent a year as a Senior Maths Mentor at my school, supporting students with different abilities and learning needs. My lessons combine clear, structured explanations with challenging questions, guided practice and exam-focused techniques. Each lesson is tailored to the student, helping them strengthen their understanding, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Lessons typically last one hour.
