About Sam L

I would decribe myself as a committed and patient coach dedicated to helping students discover the perfect balance of high-intensity training and genuine fun.

My ultimate goal is to guide players toward a new passion that builds not only their technical skills in badminton but also their off-court confidence and teamwork.

I'm a strong advocate for physical fitness and it's a personal mission of mine to grow the badminton community by sharing the sport's fast-paced, strategic and rewarding nature.

About the lesson

We offer coaching to complete beginners to intermediate level and more. We welcome all age groups and we are additionally NDIS trained.

We offer group training and private training (1 on 1, 2 or 3).

E.g: Coaching structure for a 1 on 1 lesson
- 5 minutes warm up and hitting
- 10 minutes footwork
- 40 minutes technical training
- 5 minutes competition game

We manage both large and small groups of students between weekly sessions and offer feedback on not just the technical components of badminton, but as well as the game sense necessary for strategic success.

As a student who regularly gyms, I was surprised by his progress once he started to learn badminton. On the other hand, the small gymnasium limited the continuity of his steps, so he needed to continue badminton footwork practising outside of the gymnasium or in a larger venue.

Perfect! Sam is the great and effective coach as communicates well, passionate of what he is coaching for the player’s requirements. He has great characters with lots of patience to coach for any level of badminton players. You will have great learning experiences from him through training course to improving your skills.

Learning badminton as an adult is not easy. After all, you have to change decades of motor behavior (muscle memory). But you did it. More importantly, you have continued learning for over two years and are still making progress. Keep it up!
