About Derek
I'm Derek Roland. I've been teaching others guitar for over 20 years; and have been playing myself for 27 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be guided by a player who has taught literally thousands over the years; and has lived and taught internationally. I went to school for Jazz Guitar Studies and started instructing professionally while going to college. On the side, I write guitar eBooks, guitar blogs, create songs, along with instructional material like video courses. My teaching style is motivational, interactive, and focused on problem-solving within the realm of music. Students love my lessons because I create a supportive and engaging environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Many have found great success and made significant progress under my guidance.
