About Kathryn
"Performing at gigs for 13 years keeps my ears tuned to the real demands of singing. Cold air hits my throat before a set, reminding me why proper technique is vital. Graduating from AIM gave me the technical foundation to support your voice through pop, classical, and musical theater styles.
Mastering microphone technique and head voice allows you to project confidence, while pitch control and diction keep your performance sharp. "Structure is simple. Songs are central.
I prioritize the music that you actually want to perform. My AIM training informs how we build your range safely through vocal exercises. You receive free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes to practice between our meetings. Understanding your instrument is the first step toward better control, so we spend time on clarity and articulation.
We work guitar and voice together to ensure your overall sound stays balanced and strong. I hope you enjoy the process as much as I do."
