About Katy
Do you ever struggle to find arrangements that actually sound like the songs you enjoy? I have spent years on stage and in the studio, eventually earning my BMus Piano Performance degree from the Eastman School of Music.
My work now centers on teaching guitar skills like lead technique, acoustic nuances, and blues progressions to people just like you. Electric technique and mastering difficult barre chords are central parts of my instruction. I find that keeping sessions musical and grounded makes the learning process much smoother.
