About Nicholas
Hello, I'm Nicholas. I am an Engineering undergraduate who has been tutoring for 3 years. I believe that in order to appreciate mathematics, we have to be creative and ask questions. I would always avoid memorizing my formulas and break them down to understand how they came about in the first place! Mathematics, to me, is a subject where students should get as creative as they do in Art class. The approach that I have learnt, and that I will teach you, should not only help you excel in your math papers, but hone your skill of solving problems in life with ingenuity.

I teach students to memorize as little as possible. Instead, I find it more effective to understand concepts by applying imagination and creativity. The world of mathematics is governed by rules and laws. Rather than being restricted to memorized formulas and repetitive work, let us understand, learn, and create!
I am able to provide lessons introducing or reviewing topics from Singaporean and IGCSE curriculums. I am capable of teaching introductions, tutorials, and any supplementary worksheets or extra activities necessary for the lessons.
Each session will last 1-2 hours long.
I have proficiency in teaching for Primary, Secondary (including Add. Math), and Elementary levels.
