Picking up my first guitar led me to explore how sound creates a connection between people. Have you ever wondered why some songs stay stuck in your head for years? My degree from U of T allows me to blend deep music theory with the practical needs of adult learners.
I help hobbyists and returning players find the structure they missed during their initial self-taught phase. Combining my ESL background with music instruction allows me to explain complex concepts in clear terms. I have spent 11 years helping 386 students find their unique sound on the fretboard. This journey is about translating what you hear in your mind into physical movement.
