About Mei
"Jazz improvisation and memorization techniques form the bedrock of my practice, integrated with specific focus on chord voicing and posture. My technique relies on precision in hand position, ear training, and classical repertoire, which I have refined across 13 years of teaching. Developing skills in sight transposition, hand independence, and rhythm and timing remains central to the work I perform with students.
Holding a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music informs my rigorous approach to every student. I look forward to guiding you from your first note to the stage."
