Growing up in a household where language felt like an extension of music, I eventually found that grammar rules mattered less than the pulse of a conversation. It is a strange admission, but I often found standard textbooks to be stiff until I applied the rhythm of flamenco to my own speech patterns.
Over 9 years of experience, I have guided 150 students including teens and those aiming for DELE or IELTS exams. My approach relies on the traditions of nueva canción, which I weave into every dialogue session. I focus on pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and the specific nuances between Latin American and Castilian variants.
Whether we are doing role play or building vocabulary for travel, I prioritize the sound and flow of the language. Seeing a student finally grasp the natural cadence of a new sentence is what makes this work so enjoyable.
