About Joan
Mathematics is a language I have studied throughout 4 years of tutoring. Scored 99 plus on my ATAR before entering the medical program at UQ. Being a 3rd year MD candidate forces me to refine my logic daily.
My toolkit includes coordinate geometry and trigonometry alongside Vedic math techniques. Problem-solving strategies for SAT and ACT prep are central to my work. I enjoy helping adults who want to brush up on their skills or advanced learners tackling competition math.
Mental math is another area where I help people find speed. Feel free to reach out if you want to sharpen your approach.

Mathematics tutoring often feels like a series of dry lectures. Truthfully, I prefer when we get our hands dirty with real problems immediately.
We start with algebra basics or coordinate geometry. Trigonometry is much easier with a clear strategy. My medical training ensures I keep our sessions logical.
We will tackle word problems together. I am here to help you get the concepts right.
