About Mia
Diagnostic skills checks start every session. We map your current ability level immediately. I spend time assessing your electric technique and your blues progressions before we build a plan.
Grade exam prep is available if you want a formal goal. We also focus heavily on ear training to improve your overall musicianship. Tuning and maintenance are critical parts of my routine that keep your guitar in top condition. I treat every player as an individual with unique needs.
My goal is to ensure you feel supported. I truly enjoy watching your confidence grow.

Bolero chords were the first things I learned on my instrument as a young child. I admit that I often find it difficult to separate my own identity from these traditional rhythms. My Diploma of Music from JMC Academy provides the technical framework for my sessions. I work primarily with teens and advanced players who seek a deeper understanding of their instrument.
Returning learners also find that my structured approach helps them regain their lost speed. Self taught players often come to me when they hit a wall in their progress. I find that my cross cultural background keeps my instruction friendly and patient.
Most of my clients are looking for a clear path forward. My sessions are just honest musical exchanges.
