About Iris
Have you ever wondered why learning a language through a textbook feels so disconnected from the actual culture? I teach because language is meant to be spoken with the rhythm of real life. My students include teens, busy working professionals, and intermediate learners who want to navigate the world. Having taught 296 students, I see how a lack of cultural context limits progress.
I draw on my degree from the University of Melbourne to explain grammar while keeping the conversation flowing. My background in Guadalajara means I emphasize idioms and expressions that you will actually use. I promise that our sessions will prioritize natural speech patterns over dry exercises.
