About Eliza
I am a Spanish instructor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Applied Linguistics with a focus on Spanish. My passion is helping students learn the language in a natural and meaningful way. I believe Spanish is best learned through real communication and practical use.
My lessons use immersive techniques such as travel scenarios, everyday conversations, and role-play activities. Students practice situations like ordering food, asking for directions, meeting new people, and navigating airports or hotels. This helps them feel confident using Spanish in real life.
I also integrate multimedia tools such as videos, audio clips, and interactive exercises to improve listening and pronunciation. Exposure to different Spanish dialects allows students to understand how the language varies across countries. Cultural learning is another important part of my teaching, including traditions, customs, and common expressions used by native speakers.
I guide students in developing strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills with structured yet engaging lessons. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to grow and express themselves.

Vocabulary development is taught through everyday topics such as travel, food, directions, shopping, and social conversations. I also include survival phrases that help students handle real situations quickly and effectively.
For learners preparing for language exams such as DELE, lessons include structured practice, exam strategies, and targeted exercises. I guide students through reading comprehension, writing tasks, listening practice, and speaking simulations to build strong performance skills.
Cultural learning is also an important part of my methodology. Students explore Spanish traditions, common expressions, and real world dialogue used by native speakers. Interactive activities and conversation practice help learners think in Spanish naturally.
My goal is to make Spanish clear, practical, and enjoyable so every student builds confidence and communicates comfortably in academic, travel, and professional situations.
