About Logan
Hi, I'm Logan! :) I'm an artist and music teacher living in Boston.
I began playing guitar at age 5 and really struggled, but I stuck with it, and I'm so glad I did. I'm now a guitarist and songwriter in two bands—one folk rock and one jazz/funk—and my instrument has become a key piece of my social world, creativity, and identity.
Instruments are difficult! Which is why finding passion is at the forefront of my teaching style, because if you love what you're playing, it becomes so much easier to stick with it.

I believe in the importance of inspiring students to put in the effort to improve. This begins with helping them find a style and songs they truly enjoy playing, and using difficult songs as goalposts to work towards!
I teach a simple understanding of guitar-based music theory (the one I wish I'd gotten when I was first starting), and have lessons for any level of guitarist, from complete beginner to rocker.
I can't wait to meet you and continue your musician journey! :)
