About Ivy
"Teaching exists because I want to share the practical lessons learned from 13 years of gigging on the Melbourne circuit. Calloused fingers pressing against steel strings tell the real story of a songwriter.
I have worked with 447 students to refine their rhythm guitar skills and mastery of strumming patterns. My approach is honest because I know exactly which blues progressions actually matter at an open mic night.
I also cover reading sheet music and tuning and maintenance so you remain self-sufficient. Keep your ear training sharp. I genuinely love watching players find their own voice on the instrument."
