About Chris
I enjoy building a creative, caring working rapport with students many of whom remain in regular contact 25 years later! I am patient, a good listener and don't judge students' previous attainment. I set homework and regularly feedback progress to parents and guardians. I expect students to take responsibility for their learning and will challenge them if they do not do the best they can.

I have been a successful teacher and personal motivator for 34 years. I create a supportive environment where students can build their self-confidence and exceed their expectations. I was a Head of Science for 26 years, and I have been a head of every year from Y7 to Y13. I also have NPQH status (qualified Head Teacher). I teach all Sciences and Maths to KS4 and Maths and Physics to A level. I have taught in two Comprehensive Schools, a Grammar School and a Pupil Support Unit so I have the breadth of experience to support all ranges of student ability. I develop excellent working relationships with students. I have taught over 5000 students privately and my success rate is 99.9%.
