About Melanie
I am a writer/teacher/yoga practitioner with a heart for service and a desire to share my experience and build a community of mindfulness. Creativity blooms when the mind is balanced, allowing us a steadiness and resilience to meet each day. I teach mindfulness through guided meditations, pranayama, and restorative yoga.

I believe a good teacher meets the students where they are, guiding with kindness, receptivity, and understanding. Meditation is a discipline that grows from patient practice. I recognize it can be frustrating and that each day we come to the practice with different desires, or different burdens. Meditation can be a medicine, and like any medicine, it must be tailored to the needs of the practitioner.
