About Livia

I am a passionate singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. Teaching young children and early teens has always been one of my greatest joys. I believe music should feel fun, creative, and inspiring from the very first lesson. My approach is playful and interactive, using games, movement, and storytelling to introduce pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics. These methods help children stay engaged while naturally developing strong musical foundations. I specialize in folk songs, Disney songs, and musicals, which are perfect for sparking imagination and making lessons age-appropriate. I focus on building healthy vocal habits while ensuring each student develops confidence in their own voice. Listening skills, teamwork, and self-expression are emphasized in every session. By combining technique with creativity, I encourage students to explore their voices without fear or pressure. For me, singing lessons are more than just about hitting the right notes—they are about discovering joy in music-making. I create a safe and supportive environment where every child feels valued. With encouragement and the right tools, young singers can blossom into confident and expressive musicians. Learning to sing should be fun, safe, and exciting—and I am here to make that journey truly special for every young voice.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for advanced singers is centered on refining musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression. For teens aiming to expand their artistry, I guide them in balancing technique with authentic performance. Quartet singers, on the other hand, work on blending their voices while maintaining individuality and precision.

Vocal flexibility is a key focus. I use targeted warm-ups and genre-specific exercises to help students adapt their voices across classical, jazz, pop, or choral styles. This not only sharpens technique but also builds confidence in handling diverse repertoires.

To strengthen pitch accuracy and timing, I incorporate tools such as metronomes, DAWs, and vocal training apps. These provide real-time feedback and help students track their progress. I also encourage critical listening, where students analyze recordings of themselves and others to refine their ear.

Confidence grows through performance practice. Advanced teens are encouraged to perform solo pieces with expressive clarity, while quartet singers rehearse ensemble techniques to achieve harmony and balance. In every lesson, I ensure students connect emotionally with the music they sing.

My approach blends discipline with creativity. By developing technical control, emotional depth, and adaptability, students grow into versatile singers ready to face any stage. With the right tools and mindset, they leave each session feeling stronger, more confident, and inspired.
