About Kari
I have been a math teacher for 25+ years at all levels. I currently am the director of an alternative school, helping at risk youth find their path to graduation. In my spare time, I tutor college-level statistics and enjoy helping my students demystify stats.

I believe in a collaborative learning approach--working together to achieve mastery. A typical lesson plan will begin with pre-prep on my part. I will prefer materials ahead of time, so I can craft a plan for utilizing our time efficiently. I employ the "I do, we do, you do" model of tutoring. My lessons are for all levels of math, but my current passion is statistics.
