About Neville
I’m Neville Pan, with 9 years of professional piano teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Music (Piano Performance). I earned a remarkable Band 6 in Music 1 during HSC and completed my Certificate of Performance with the AMEB.
In my teaching, 85% of students achieve Distinction or High Distinction in their exams. My teaching philosophy centers on exploring diverse and creative ways to explain new concepts and techniques, ensuring that my students not only understand but also deeply connect with the music they are learning.
I offer valuable insight for the piano. I focus on developing foundational techniques and skill stacking for secure progress. I teach techniques on improving sight-reading skills and practice techniques for faster learning of pieces. I use Hanon and Czerny to improve finger independence and dexterity.
I aim to foster a positive mindset, maintain an open outlook, and set high expectations for my students. I teach a variety of students from 4 years old to adult. I am available to teach in Epping area and surrounding suburbs, bringing the lesson to your home, so you don’t lose time commuting.
