About Liyan
I have a BA at Tongji University, majoring in Chinese culture (a top ten university in China), and an MA in education at UCL. Being a tutor is my major and my hobby. I have six years of tutoring experience with over a dozen students, from elementary school to adults. Speak 5 Chinese dialects and have dozens of Chinese writing competition certificates.
I firmly believe that learning a language is not just learning the language itself, but also understanding the culture, history and even current trends behind it. In this sense, I am confident that I am one of the best tutors out there.
