About Xenia
"Instruction spans a wide range from foundational scales and arpeggios to the complexities of advanced bowing technique. I have taught 310 students who vary from nervous beginners to those preparing for high-level exams.
My focus remains on physical mechanics such as vibrato, shifting positions, and refined tone production. Lessons often involve a detailed look at spiccato and staccato bowing to ensure your right hand remains fluid. Left hand agility and consistent ear training are central to my methodical teaching style, much like the music theory fundamentals I emphasize for exam candidates.
