I'm a yoga teacher originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, now living in Melbourne, Australia. I was drawn to yoga to gain some space from a busy monkey mind during university studies and later a demanding job in economics and policy. I found that having my mat to come to each morning was the thing got me through some of my most challenging periods.
I love helping others to reach their health and wellness goals through the tools of yoga & to tap into their inner calm, confidence, and connection.
When I work with you or your group I will tailor the lessons specifically to your body, needs and goals. I believe it is so important that yoga works for you and your body (rather than you trying to push yourself into the "perfect" pose). This is why I offer a FREE 20 minute discovery call to learn about you and your goals and work out how I can help you.
Typically, you'll find that my classes will give you a sweat up, but we will do this mindfully, thinking about which muscles are working and why, and there will also be a focus on getting out of your head and into your body, tuning into what you’re actually experiencing in the body, meeting you where you are today and finding what feels good for you.
I work with all types of students from all ages and experience. I love helping clients to overcome stress and anxiety in particular, as well as helping people looking to yoga as a way to complement other sports they are involved in.

I am a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance International at the 200 hr level.
I also have a qualification in group exercise from New Zealand.
I did my training and apprenticeship at New Zealand’s esteemed Adapted Yoga and Pilates in Christchurch.
I have recently moved to Melbourne and will soon be teaching group classes here.
