About Cindy
An interesting fact about me, is that I live in a school bus! It is my tiny home. My husband and I love to travel and enjoy meeting people. I love meeting new people and simply having a conversation to help others learn English. Native speakers can help with words and phrases that only native speakers know. I don't judge someone in where they are in speaking English. I simply have a conversation and gently inform a student of a needed correction. I also play the piano and teach piano lessons and have found that learning a new language is the same as learning to play an instrument. You have to practice, and use what you are learning. I love helping people and this is one way I've found to share a lifetime of language wealth with someone else! Always remember...you are never to old to learn something new!

Conversations about hobbies, interests, and life events open up opportunities to learn new words and phrases. Reading and talking together automatically practices sentence structure. There are also using online tools to introduce new vocabulary and usage. Talking with a native English speaker brings about the ability for a student to begin to think in the language they are learning. This helps the student increase their understanding of words and how to use them correctly. My students ages range from high school to business professionals.
