About Penelope
Teaching started for me when I realized that language structure is just a series of logical patterns to solve. I focus on providing a neurodivergent-affirming environment for immigrants and TOEFL candidates.
Working with 496 students has shown me that confidence in speaking is the primary barrier for most people. I draw on my BA in Languages from Monash to break down complex academic writing into manageable segments. My CELTA certification keeps my methods grounded in current linguistics. Listening comprehension and pronunciation exercises form the bedrock of our progress.
