I am a Professional Counselor and have extensive experience teaching different subjects to all kinds of people, from middle school to college level. I love chess and transmitting the ways of this game. My greatest idols in chess history are Jose Raul Capablanca, Mikhail Tal, Magnus Carlsen, Bobby Fischer.

I am a enthusiastic Chess player (My LiChess rating is 1800) and experienced teacher. I focus on what you or your child need most, everything from learning the moves and rules of the game, to spot tactics, create middlegame plans, basic endgames mating figures and much more.
Typically, a lesson will include one or two concepts with practice examples where I will help you understand the best moves and the reasons for them and practice games where we will apply your new knowledge to get better.
I like to help my students go beyond repetition, I focus on understanding of how the game works, so that you can apply that knowledge in the future.
I can teach children from 5 years who are first learning the game all the way to teenagers or adults who want to get better.
