About Isabella
I am a high school language assistant in a French high school in Bordeaux, home in Chicago for the summer. I graduated last year with a degree in Francophone studies where I became proficient and obtained DELF certification in French. During my undergraduate studies, I worked for two years as a French peer tutor for the Learning Center.

I am extremely enthusiastic about French learning, and incorporating Francophone culture is integral to my tutoring approach. In my opinion, learning a language is not only being able to speak, read, and write, it is being able to understand the cultures that use the language and being able to connect with people through language. As a tutor, I am dynamic and trained to adapt to each student's specific learning capacities. I have experience helping students with standardized exams, preparing high school level courses and lessons, leading conversation groups, and one-on-one basic level tutoring.
