About George
I have been tutoring on and off for around 3 years. During my time at University, I helped tutor an A-Level psychology student, whilst during my second year I worked with first year students on an 'Approaches to Criticism' module, where I met weekly with a study group to help them work through complex texts and theories and in an open environment for questioning and debate.

I am a recent graduate in English from the University of Exeter, with a specialism in modern literature and cultural theory. I am open to teaching all ages, but might be of particular use to those starting an undergraduate degree who might be struggling to get to grips with some tricky ideas and theories.
I have also worked with children, aged between 5 and 12 - I recently returned from two-months volunteering in Greece, where I spent time working on English lessons with young refugee children.
I am a young, fun and welcoming tutor, I like to work in a relaxed and informal environment, and my past tutoring has been structured around resolving specific problem or questions relating to a student's current topics of study.
