About Isha
My name is Isha and I am a 1st year medical student at University of Birmingham. I have achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively and Grade 7, 8 and 9's in my GCSE's. My decision to study medicine was based on a combination of interest in the human anatomy and desire to help people at their most vulnerable. Being a student myself I understand the struggles and I hope that by tutoring others I can ease their uncertainties. I hope use my work experience at City Hospitals, GP clinics, primary school and care homes to facilitate learning amongst students to best prepare them for a career of life long learning.

When revising for my GCSE and A-levels exams I realised that the method that worked best for me is active participation, for example by doing past papers and active recalling. When tutoring students, I will be applying a similar methodology of teaching using simplified diagrams and min-maps and then testing their knowledge using exam questions.
