About Omar
If it helps instill your confidence in me, I was awarded a cash prize and a plaque for being the top mathematics student in my high school. I have successfully completed higher level mathematics classes at the University of Ottawa such as: Calculus 1 and 2, Linear Algebra and Biostatistics.
I have previous private tutoring experience in mathematical subjects from arithmetics, trigonometry, to algebra. People are always shocked when I tell them that my favourite subject in school was mathematics.

I will teach up to grade 10 mathematics as long as I have what the student is going to learn ahead of time just to make sure I cover all of their needs. I will go over the theory of the mathematical concept and then show a few examples and have the student solve as many practice questions as possible while they have the session with me. Finally, I will give them homework on the more difficult concepts so that we can review them in our next session.
