About Arjun
Hi, I’m Arjun, a 2nd-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham. I achieved AAA at A-Level in Maths, Physics and Economics, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths with a calm, structured approach. I’m patient and friendly, but also focused on progress: I break topics down clearly, then we build confidence through exam-style practice and mark-scheme technique. I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students go from feeling stuck to feeling in control. I currently offer online lessons for flexibility and consistency. I'm easy to get on with and I'll always keep the lessons positive, even when the topic is tough.

I’m a 2nd-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Birmingham, offering GCSE and A-Level Maths tutoring in Birmingham (online available too). My teaching is structured around evidence-based learning methods: active recall, spaced practice, and targeted exam questions so you actually retain the methods and can use them under time pressure. I’ve tutored informally and supported classmates/students, and I focus on clear step-by-step explanations, common exam traps, and mark-scheme technique. Typical sessions are 60 minutes (90 minutes available): a quick diagnostic, focused teaching, guided practice, then independent questions with feedback and a simple plan for the week.
