About Rodolfo
Having worked with students from various backgrounds, I can say with confidence that I have developed the skill necessary to help any learner understand math. My ultimate goal as a math educator is to break down the stigma my favorite subject typically carries, and provide students with a positive mathematical experience. Education should be about opening pathways for students, not setting up barriers, so I am always willing to meet students wherever their skill set is at.

I believe in working through problems with students until my students feel like they have mastered the skills we are working with. I use a gradual release model so students are able to follow along with various examples and are then able to replicate the procedures. Typically my lessons involve all of the necessary procedural steps students will need for a skill and will be followed by several examples with teacher input along the way. I am also a big fan of differentiation and like to color coordinate, define key vocab, draw relevant images, and provide students with notes to help students more easily process information.
