About Yu Yi
I have been tutoring and helping children with mathematics for the past four years. I am certified for all levels of math, from elementary math to algebra and calculus. Even though I am only 17 years old, an incoming freshman at Case Western Reserve University, I had countless experiences in studying mathematics. I had tutored all grade levels, from elementary school first-graders to high school seniors. I had taken all Advanced Placement math courses and had gotten 5's on all of them. I had also studied and obtained A's in college-level math courses in my senior year of high school.
I enjoy tutoring because I enjoy working with children and helping them grow. I was once the child who needed help with English, as I was an immigrant. It was very difficult for me to learn English all by myself. And thus, I want to help children who simply need some guidance in academics. I want to be the one who can help others and prevent them from suffering much as I did.
