About Jo
As an experienced tutor, I have tutored classes and individuals since 2015. I have tutored math, economics, and finance.
I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and finance, and a Master's degree in Finance (Investment Management). I am currently busy with a Master's degree in Actuarial Science and a PhD in Finance.
I started while studying at university. I found that teaching was both enjoyable and fulfilling.

I get to know the student and establish a 'baseline' knowledge. I try to identify the gaps early on so that these can be bridged and cemented before proceeding to further knowledge on any particular topic.
Any and all. I have tutored over 500 students.

Make sure you know what you don't know. Sounds difficult, know. But having an idea of what material you struggle with will allow you and the tutor to cut out all the fluff you are familiar with so that we can focus on the problematic areas.
