I am a 4th-year mechanical engineering student at the University of Florida who has been tutoring since middle school! I have done both paid and volunteer tutoring lessons for many age ranges and I prioritize making my student feel as comfortable as they can. Prior to your first lesson, I have a survey for my students to fill out regarding what they are struggling with, and how they prefer to best be taught. My lessons are individually catered towards the individual and they can be for ANY grade level. I specialize in example-based learning, meaning you will see and practice multiple variations of sample problems. If preferred, I can also provide the "why" for problem-solving. Typically, past students have preferred a short introduction, watching some examples, and then helping walk through problems together. My strong subjects are math and science, but I am also proficient in beginner Korean learning, English, and other high school classes.
