About Kayla

As an experienced ESL tutor with 8 years of teaching and 150–200 students taught, I focus on making English learning simple, enjoyable, and personalized. My goal is to create a comfortable learning space where students can grow at their own pace. I believe in understanding each student’s individual needs and adjusting my teaching methods accordingly. I work with students of all levels, helping them improve fluency, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing.

I use a wide range of creative materials like videos, conversations, stories, and games to make lessons interesting and memorable. I also help students stay organized with structured lesson plans and strong time management. I provide regular feedback, motivation, and positive support to help them gain confidence. Whether students are preparing for exams, moving abroad, or learning English for personal growth, I tailor each session to suit their goals. In addition to ESL, I also offer help in writing skills, reading comprehension, and everyday conversation. My teaching style is warm, flexible, and always focused on student success.

About the lesson

My ESL lessons are designed to help students feel confident and excited about learning. I use a motivational approach to inspire students and show them that they can succeed. I believe that learning should be active, not passive, so my classes are full of speaking, listening, and real-life examples. I use communication-focused tasks like interviews, discussions, and presentations to build fluency.

I also add creative materials like short films, comics, and pictures to make learning fun and clear. Each class is planned with good time management, so we spend enough time on each skill without rushing. I track progress and give feedback regularly so students know how they’re improving. I also provide short, useful tasks for practice outside class. I work with students of all levels—from beginners to advanced—and help them with schoolwork, exams, or just everyday conversation. Besides ESL.

I also teach writing, vocabulary building, and public speaking. My main aim is to help students learn in a way that is simple, fun, and effective.
